Our Story
SPECS began as a one-man freelance operation in 2005 and took its current name in 2018. Our founder and president, Paul Culp, is a former journalist, corporate ghostwriter, marketing communications specialist, and educator with a master’s degree from Oxford University and a decade of experience teaching composition at all levels from university down to sixth grade. SPECS has worked on a wide spectrum of projects including white papers, books, news releases, email campaigns, blogs, proposals, web copy, video scripts, and fundraising appeals. We are well accustomed to life in the pressure cooker, and we pride ourselves on speed as well as accuracy and grace.
